Main purpose of the role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the best global licensed franchises. You will work within a busy marketing department liaising with our US and international colleagues, with responsibility for developing and managing creative and commercial marketing initiatives across EMEA. This role will work closely and cross functionally with our Sales, Licensing, Operations and Finance teams to drive brand awareness and revenue.
Relationships are key to the success of this role, which requires collaborative working internally, and externally with our retail customers and licensing partners.
We're looking for someone with toy industry experience, who is ready for their next challenge in the world of Disney.
Candidates must be able to work 3 days a week from our Bracknell office.
Key duties and responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
· Manage key brands and budgets across the Disney portfolio
· Work closely with US brand and marketing teams to provide regional insight and feedback for product development and marketing strategy
· Help drive localisation and execution of global marketing and media plans for the EMEA region
· Present product lines and marketing plans to both internal and external stakeholders
· Manage and report on regional marketing budget and activations
· Liaise with our US Marketing teams to disseminate updates on product lines including decks, line plans and marketing plans
· Assist with PR, Influencer and Media Agencies, briefing and budget allocation. Monitor campaign results, taking corrective action if necessary
· Manage execution of communications plans, press events, showroom and exhibition set up
· Assist Trade Marketing Director in managing key brand launches including in store displays, visual merchandising, promotions and field merchandising with a view of delivering optimum POS uplift Analyse ROI for future campaign planning.
· Maintain regular communication with licensors, country managers and Jakks sales teams & partners
· Provide marketing support to other direct and distributor markets in the EMEA region as needed
· Manage and maintain asset libraries and approval timelines.
· Set up and attend Trade Shows as required
· European and International travel may be required
