Your new role
1. Working closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure client payrolls are delivered on time;
2. Review the teams work and assist with the training of staff.
3. Create and maintain worker records on the payroll software.
4. Process payroll data
5. Prepare monthly BACS payments
6. Resolve payroll discrepancies and investigate errors.
7. Alter tax codes and payroll data via HMRC data provisioning services.
8. Send weekly and monthly reports to HMRC and pension providers.
9. Calculate and process holiday payments.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have a solid payroll background with experience running end to end payrolls, ideally using Sage.
