Job Title: Supply Teacher Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Altrincham Job Type: Contract, Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £120 - £140 Per day Job Duties: 1. Delivering pre-planned lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. 2. Maintaining classroom discipline and ensuring a safe learning environment. 3. Adhering to school policies and procedures. 4. Providing feedback to regular teachers on student progress. 5. Collaborating with other staff members to support the overall educational goals of the school. Required Qualifications: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). - Enhanced DBS check. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to adapt to different teaching environments. Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field. Experience: Previous experience in a teaching role is preferred. Knowledge and Skills: - Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum. - Excellent classroom management skills. - Ability to engage and motivate students. - Strong organisational skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). - Additional training in special education needs (SEN). Working Conditions: - Part-time hours, typically between 8:30 am - 3:30 pm. - Work in various schools in the North West England region. - May require travel between different school locations. - Collaborate with different teaching staff and school administrators.
