This is a permanent, fulltime post of 37 hours per week, with a shift pattern of Monday to Friday (9am-5pm).

We are looking for an experienced Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join our team of therapists and clinical support workers serving North East Glasgow. We serve a population of children, their families and carers from 0-18 with swallowing differences, and neuro developmental speech, language and communication needs. We work in homes, nurseries, schools, health centres and community settings and have a whole team office base at Stobhill Hospital.
Our team is passionate about preventing the adverse health and wellbeing impacts that result if communication needs and environments are unsupported. We are neuro-affirming in our approach and we align our practice with Realistic Medicine principles. We offer our expert advice, support and guidance to a range of families, young people and colleagues.
If you are suitably qualified, registered with HCPC, an RCSLT member and keen to further develop your practice journey, we would welcome your application. You should have a learner mindset, a thoughtful communication style and be committed to working in an accountable way as part of a team. You will have regular supervision with a team lead and support from the wider team. We provide regular learning and development opportunities on a regular basis and support you to work in collaboration with families and other professionals to achieve value based outcomes that matter.
