Duties
1. Administer medication as prescribed.
2. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.
3. Implement behaviour management strategies tailored to individual needs.
4. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks as required.
5. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel.
6. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications
1. Previous experience in senior care or a nursing home setting is preferred but not essential.
2. Strong understanding of patient care principles and first aid practices.
3. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
4. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively.
5. Certification in first aid or caregiving is advantageous.
6. A genuine passion for providing care and support to others, demonstrating empathy and patience at all times.
