Duration - 12 months
Key Responsibilities:
* Key advisor to project on leave policy ensuring that the build of new tools and processes are fully aligned to companies policies and all applicable legislation
* Advise on overall project strategy but also details of each individual leave throughout all stages of the build
* Proactively reviewing current policies to ensure accuracy & completeness, compliance, and operational efficiency for both the business & employees. Partnering with members of the global benefits team to ensure all policy changes support global/international alignment across our leave programmes
* Partnering with Operations and Legal to address any gaps between policy & process, ensure any process redesign & documentation aligns with policy
* Key stakeholder for all comms relating to the project and to partner with other teams to define the scope of work for future phases of the project
Experience required:
* At least 10 years of HR experience in total with at least 5 years of experience in benefits and or leaves strategy and management
* Deep expertise in designing and implementing leaves policies
* Significant experience of working across multiple countries in Europe. Additional experience working across other regions (Asia, Latin America) would be an advantage
* Experience of working on tech builds for leaves
* Proven ability to work at a fast pace and with ambiguity
* Excellent communication skills
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with Project Managers, HR Tech, Benefits Operations, and Legal to ensure policies are accurately reflected in the tool.
* Ensure compliance with local regulations and assist in drafting leave policies where needed.
* Guide teams on implementing maternity, paternity, recharge, and other leave policies.
* Oversee system functionality, ensuring it automates workflows, notifies employees of requirements, and integrates with payroll.
* Conduct workshops and reviews to ensure policy intent is met.
* Work autonomously, influencing stakeholders and driving strategy beyond task execution
