Job summary Worcestershire Core CAMHS are looking for an enthusiastic and driven CBT Therapist to join our evolving Specialist CBT Pathway. Worcestershire Core CAMHS supports Children, Young People and their families/carers with presentations of moderate to severe emotional and mental health problems. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the development of evidence based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy pathway across Worcestershire Core CAMHS. The successful candidate will either be accredited or working towards accreditation with the BABCP. We are looking for clinicians that are passionate about evidence based, person centred and collaborative practice. You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written and enjoy being part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team. We have three bases across Worcestershire, Worcester, Redditch and Kidderminster. The post will be based in one of the localities with an expectation that there is travel to other bases (time and travel costs are supported by the Trust). This is full time post, but we would consider applicants looking for part time (minimum 30 hours per week) Main duties of the job To work collaboratively as part of Worcestershire Core CAMHS teams providing specialist CBT assessment, formulation and interventions with young people and families. Manage highly specialised case-loads: including care-coordination and liaison with systems connected to the young person and the multidisciplinary teams within the whole of Worcestershire CAMHS. Engage with and offer specialised (CBT) clinical supervision with colleagues in Worcestershire CAMHS. Use creative approaches to solving problems and dilemmas when delivering CBT to an evolving population. The post holder will be supported to evolve their continuing professional development inline with their interests and in conjunction with the needs of the population of Worcestershire.
