As a Trainee Bodyshop Repair Technician, you’ll learn how save vehicles from replacement parts and restore or repair them using SMART techniques ( S mall to M edium A rea R epair T echnology). You’ll be trained in skills such as trim/upholstery repairs, polishing, reupholstery and minor body repairs. The right person for this role will have excellent communication skills, a meticulous eye for detail and plenty of enthusiasm. You’ll also be able to carry yourself in a professional manner. We will provide daily training on-site and also regular training at our Rockingham training centre. This trainee role will be assessed after 2 years to see if they are ready to join the team. Duties and responsibilities Repairing vehicles to the customers specifications. Carrying out general housekeeping in the workshop. Liaising with mentors and supervisors to carry out any necessary tasks. Working safely while completing workshop tasks.
