Site Operations Manager, AMZL (Last Mile) - South

We are looking for experienced candidates to provide leadership to our Transportation team. Typical responsibilities will include:
1. Quickly understanding the business issues and challenges of Transportation operations; identifying strengths/weaknesses and suggesting areas for improvement.
2. Mapping business requirements, understanding business processes, studying and analyzing workflows, designing solutions, and preparing functional specifications.
3. Being data-driven, developing and reporting performance metrics, executive updates, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to identify potential opportunities for improving Customer Experience.
4. Deep diving and acquiring extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices and applying them when solving business problems.
5. Designing, developing, piloting, and rolling out enterprise-wide programs around performance improvement, cycle time improvement for returns, delivery experience, financial auditing, and identification of alternate delivery services.
Additional responsibilities may include:
1. Developing standard operating procedures.
2. Direct accountability for setting and meeting operational goals, strategic planning, and forecasting.
3. Leading a team of business analysts, program managers, or area managers.
4. Leading process improvements.
We are looking for smart and analytical people who are passionate about operations to join the Operations team at Amazon India. Ideal candidates are expected to leverage their strong analytical skills and communication abilities.
Minimum Requirements:
1. 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
2. Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
3. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
4. 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques experience.
