What the Job Involves As a social worker in the Children and Family Services team, you will undertake assessments and provide social work services to users and carers in line with statutory duties and council policies. Your role will involve participating in duty teams or rotas to handle contacts, referrals, and Section 47 enquiries. You will ensure timely case progression and safeguarding of vulnerable children, utilizing both Group and independent resources effectively. Additionally, you will prepare for and represent the Local Authority in Care Proceedings at Court.
