PARTS DRIVER—TEMPORARY Stephen James BMW & MINI is looking for an experienced delivery driver to join its aftersales team to deliver and collect parts. As a delivery driver representing BMW and MINI, the interaction you have with all our customers plays an important role in their experience and perception of Stephen James. You will be responsible for delivering ordered parts to trade customers and bodyshops. Route planning is a key aspect of this role, and you should be able to prioritise deliveries based upon customer needs and the most efficient route possible. The main duties of the role include: Provide an efficient collection and delivery service of parts to and from agreed suppliers and Service Centres Loading and unloading vehicle parts efficiently and safely Maintain high levels of customer service at all times. Verify the accuracy of orders before delivery and obtain necessary signatures and payment upon delivery Ensure secure collection of payment and supply invoices at the time of delivery. Assist with stocktaking and keeping the warehouse tidy and organised. Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. YOUR PROFILE. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Strong geographical knowledge of London and surrounding counties Excellent time management and route planning skills Previous experience in a delivery driver role would be desirable Must be eligible to work in the UK and have a valid, clean UK driving license for a minimum of 1 year and be confident driving a transit-size vehicle. Ability to lift and carry heavy parts up to 20 kg ABOUT US. SALARY AND HOURS. Basic salary: £26,769.60 with an additional bonus of £1,200 to £2,400, per annum.
