A respected education provider in Wigan is looking for a proactive and knowledgeable HR Advisor to join its dynamic HR team. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys providing HR solutions, thrives on variety, and is passionate about improving employee experience and well-being.
Responsibilities:
* Provide day-to-day HR advice to managers on policies, procedures, and employment law
* Support employee relations casework including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance
* Manage end-to-end recruitment processes and ensure compliance with safeguarding standards
* Lead HR projects aligned with wider people strategies
* Deliver training sessions on HR policies and legal updates
* Offer expert guidance on employment terms, maternity/paternity leave, and flexible working
* Oversee occupational health and employee well-being initiatives
* Prepare insightful HR data reports to inform senior management decisions
* Act as deputy to the Head of HR when required
What we’re looking for:
* CIPD qualified (or working towards) with strong generalist HR experience
* Confident and clear communicator with excellent written skills
* Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practice
* Able to juggle multiple priorities and deliver to tight deadlines
