Role Details:
* Position: Learning Support Assistant (SEND/SEMH)
* Salary: £85-£95 per day (dependent on experience)
* Location: Various schools in the area
* Start Date: Immediate start available
* Duration: Ongoing, full-time positions
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEND or SEMH needs.
* Assist in the implementation of personalised learning plans and behavioural strategies.
* Support students' emotional, social, and academic development in and outside the classroom.
* Foster a positive and inclusive environment, helping students overcome barriers to learning.
* Work closely with teaching staff and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
The Ideal Candidate:
* A Psychology degree or similar qualification (essential).
* A strong passion for working with students with SEND/SEMH.
* Experience in education is beneficial but not necessary.
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to build trusting relationships with students.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* A proactive and compassionate approach to supporting children and young people.
