Position: Senior Manager, Brand, Creative and Design
The Senior Manager, Brand, Creative and Design is responsible for leading all global responsibilities related to the SCIEX brand including creation/curation of the brand platform, building and executing brand management processes, creating and executing on brand activation campaigns, as well as working cross-functionally to ensure consistency and adherence to the brand across all communications.
They are also responsible for leading the creative function within global marketing, managing a team that is responding to marketing briefs and generating ideas for creative execution. Additionally, they are accountable for the delivery of all day-to-day design tasks for both global and regional teams, managing a team of graphic and multimedia designers. This position reports to the Senior Director, Marketing Services, is part of the Marketing Services team located globally and will be an on-site role in either UK, Alderley Park, Manchester or Framingham, Massachusetts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Curate and manage the SCIEX brand platform and create appropriate processes to manage brand consistency and company-wide brand communications.
2. Create brand activation and integrated brand campaigns to drive measurable awareness and preference for SCIEX across all markets, and support strategic marketing campaigns.
3. Manage the process of briefing, ideation, and delivery of creative marketing projects, and support global strategic marketing with insights, messaging, and concepting.
4. Manage a team of creatives and graphic/multimedia designers to ensure on-time delivery of creative and design projects globally.
5. Act as a Danaher brand ambassador for SCIEX, ensuring adherence and alignment to Danaher brand requirements.
6. Manage brand marketing budget and resources to ensure optimal results from marketing and brand campaigns.
7. Manage SCIEX relationship with creative agencies to deliver on high-level strategic projects.
Minimum Requirements:
1. 5+ years' experience in B2B brand marketing with emphasis on brand and creative marketing. Able to show examples of strategic vision, creative output, and measurable impact of campaigns.
2. 3+ years' experience managing a marketing team, design/creative team, or communications team.
3. Minimum bachelor's degree in marketing or a life science discipline (in conjunction with demonstrated experience in marketing).
4. Excellent understanding of B2B marketing and the creative marketing process is essential. Experience working with or in brand/creative agencies highly desirable.
5. Strong people and project management skills required; with proven ability to influence, work, collaborate, and communicate globally with peers.
Travel Requirements:
Up to 20% global travel required.
