Tasks
As a PCO Driver for our company, you will be responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation in a wheelchair-accessible vehicle. Reporting to the Fleet Manager, your role is essential in ensuring that our clients receive timely and efficient service. You will utilize your core driving skills and premium commercial driving experience, along with relevant skills such as safe driving and effective communication with clients. Responsibilities
1. Safely operate a wheelchair accessible vehicle to transport passengers to their destinations.
2. Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
3. Conduct pre-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and functionality.
4. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their comfort and safety.
5. Communicate effectively with passengers and dispatch to provide updates and address any concerns.
6. Maintain accurate records of trips and vehicle maintenance as required.
Requirements
Conditions to rent a vehicle:
* Work on commission (pay 43% commission to the company);
* Take full responsibility of the vehicle;
* Attend the MIDAS training and cover any wheelchair accessible work with the local authorities.
In order to start you will need the following documents:
* Passport/ID copy;
* ENHANCED CRB/DBS check, not older than 3 years;
* NINO;
* UTR Number;
* Driving Licence with no more than 6 points;
* London PCO Licence;
* Proof of address;
* MIDAS or Safeguarding Training Certificate (training will be provided if you don't have it).
