Job title: Sales & Service Administrator

Job Purpose:
Arbil Limited, a well-established business with ambitious growth plans, is looking to recruit a
full-time Sales & Service Administrator for its Rail & Service Division based in Lye, West Midlands.
Working as part of a small team in a fast-paced environment, the successful candidate will provide
high-quality service administration and sales support to the department.
Accountabilities:
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Inputting sales and repair quotations on to Sage system.
2. Production of delivery paperwork, invoices, test certificates, and purchase orders.
3. Production & completion of works orders.
4. Dealing with customer & supplier enquiries.
5. Prioritising Engineers' workflow.
6. Organising transport logistics.
7. Managing diaries for on-site Engineers.
8. Monitoring and maintaining price files as appropriate.
9. Liaising with other team members and departments.
10. Provide support and assistance to the Operations Manager & Rail Sales Controller.
11. Carrying out general admin and office duties.
Essential Requirements for Job at Competent Level of Performance:
1. Previous experience in a sales administration role and/or service environment.
2. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
3. High attention to detail.
4. Ability to multi-task and prioritise under pressure.
5. Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
6. Excellent time-management skills with a flexible approach and a ‘can do’ attitude.
7. Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel & Outlook.
8. Proficient in the use of CRM systems (Knowledge of Sage an advantage).
9. A flexible and conscientious approach to work in order to meet deadlines and targets.
10. Pleasant approachable manner.
11. Knowledge of the Rail Industry is an advantage.
12. Flexibility that includes the potential to assist other departments and locations within Arbil.
13. Ability to form constructive relationships with colleagues across the group and to interact with Corporate functions such as Finance, Marketing, and QA / H&S.
14. UK driving licence to undertake travel to customers, suppliers, and other relevant parties.
Experience Required:
1. Rail Industry - Sales or Service (preferably both) and Hire.
2. Customer account management.
Personality:
1. Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative.
2. Conscientious approach.
3. Experience and maturity to ensure commercial success.
Communications:
1. Internal: Staff at all levels including members of other divisions and those in corporate roles.
2. External: Customers (existing and potential), suppliers, and all other relevant stakeholders.
