Our client, a global leading manufacturing company, is looking for a Procurement Professional to join their team! This role offers the chance to move into a Category Buying role in the future!
Job Description
1. Processes requisitions and provides support for purchasing, supply chain, sourcing, cost, price analyses and contract/purchase order generation.
2. Developing improvement plans to support buyers & professionals related to Response Time, Lean Targets Quality, Cost, Logistics, Development, and Management (QCLDM) to enable optimal and efficient operations.
3. Performing analysis and maintenance of assigned processes that produce output excellence, builds expertise for the assigned process area, and contributes to continuous improvement efforts.
4. Supporting customers and customer proposal efforts with pricing information and supplier selection.
5. Performing analytical and administrative tasks in support of purchasing strategic initiatives.
