You will be required to deliver an industry leading and fully compliant clinical homecare pharmacy service to patients, trusts, and the pharmaceutical industry through regulatory compliance, clinical governance, people management and operational excellence.
In addition to this you will be the first line of support to the Director Of Pharmacy Operations.
Job Duties:
Line manage the Pharmacy Administration Team Leader, Dispensary Team Leader, and Pharmacists at the Pharmacy site (the Pharmacy team)
Exhibit exemplary leadership, ensuring the highest standards of service to patients, NHS customers, and other internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrate commercial acumen and financial governance to ensure pharmacy is operating within budget.
Develop robust people plans and workforce planning to match resource to workload and ensure that prescription administration and dispensing workload is completed within the required timelines.
Lead the Pharmacy team in line with business policies and HR rules and requirements.
Ensure all pharmacy employees complete all company and regulatory training, and have accurate signed job descriptions, also have completed and are fully compliant with the company standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Requirements:
Degree level Pharmacy qualification.
GPhC Registration as a Pharmacist.
Specialised knowledge of Pharmacy, Medicines and other regulations that impact on the Pharmacy.
Excellent people skills, a team builder and influencer, effective communicator with remarkable attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
Experience of leading a large team.
Good distribution practice, Pharmacovigilance requirements, and the Homecare industry.
Ability to prioritize workload and be flexible to the needs of the business, which may be of an urgent medical nature.

Salary: £65000 per annum
