Our client is currently seeking an Account Manager for a thriving Worcestershire business. This is a brand new opportunity within the business and offers a wide scope of potential and progression.
Duties
1. Grow the division through relationship building and regular contact with the existing account portfolio.
2. Proactively generate and manage sales enquiries.
3. Provide regular marketing to support sales growth (email, social media, promotions…).
4. Support the budgeting process and provide forecasting information for analysis.
5. Be dynamic and responsive to any enquiries.
6. Contribute information, ideas, trend analysis, and research to help develop sales/marketing strategies.
7. Develop sales strategies and approaches for the target customer or product.
8. Develop & maintain excellent customer relations.
9. Maintain the CRM system.
10. Ensure all records are kept up to date with the relevant information.
11. Create, present, and deliver regular KPIs to the Senior Managers.
12. Follow up enquiries and quotations within a reasonable or agreed time frame.
13. Efficiently liaise with sales administrators.
14. Feedback market data to the Sales Director.
15. Provide effective communication to both internal and external customers.
16. Help to implement and adhere to company policies and procedures.
17. Work with drive and enthusiasm to meet targets set.
Skills & Experience
1. Strong customer service skills.
2. Driven to achieve sales targets.
3. A good team player but has the initiative to work alone.
4. Must have excellent MS Office Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
5. Able to present to customers confidently.
6. Good business acumen.
7. New business development through multiple medias (marketing, emailing, Google Ads, and customer visits).
8. Previous marketing experience (preferred but not essential).
