Job summary The Luton And Dunstable Ophthalmology have a vacancy for a highly motivated Health Care Assistant with an Interest in Ophthalmology to join our team. We are a large friendly multi disciplinary team who prides itself on striving and providing excellent ophthalmic care to our patient's. Main duties of the job The post holder will assist in the safe and effective delivery of ophthalmic care whilst under the supervision of Registered Nurses within the Ophthalmology Department. The HCA will contribute to the provision and Delivery of variety activities of patient/client care. You will be required to undertake training and achieve competencies in using Specialist Ophthalmic Clinical devices. Our Patients come from a variety of cultural backgrounds so you must be able to communicate effectively.
