The Role:
As part of our Faculty's Technical team, this role entails offering operational support spanning a diverse array of technical services crucial to the Faculty's educational, research and commercial endeavours.
The core responsibility of this position is to bolster our brand-new Space Laboratory, with a strong emphasis on supporting teaching labs and various specialised domains with particular emphasis on satellites and telecommunication. Your duties will encompass hands-on assistance as well as empowering students to autonomously engage in tasks and enhance their experience with us. You will play a pivotal role in equipment maintenance, demonstration and adherence to pertinent legislation and University Policies.
Furthermore, a significant aspect of this role involves developing the skills and knowledge of fellow Technicians, particularly in the realm of Satellites and Telecommunication.
Flexibility is key, as the incumbent will collaborate across the Faculty, acquiring proficiency in diverse technical domains to effectively address Faculty priorities and requirements.
