Our client is a leading, innovative data centre services provider, who offer colocation and cloud services to diverse businesses and hyperscalers globally. Sustainability is at the heart of their business, with the majority of their operations powered by renewable energy.
They are growing rapidly (both people and facilities) and are now looking to hire a Customer Implementation Manager.
This role will involve managing customer operations and whitespace infrastructure, leading a team of data centre technicians, managing projects, and improving process and workflow.
Key responsibilities include:
* Management of remote hands function
* Customer service and support
* Project management
* Tools and system management - ITSM, CSM, DCIM
* Process improvement
* Hardware installation, structured cabling and connectivity management
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
* Deep knowledge of data centre infrastructure (including power, cooling, connectivity and redundancy)
* Technical support background gained in a data centre environment (hardware installation and cable management/design)
* Strong communication and customer facing skills
* Previous experience improving process and workflow
* Experience with service management and monitoring tools
