Job summary – What to expect: We have an exciting internal only opportunity, for a Quality Engineering Manager to join our team. You can be based at either Mount Park or at our site in Hungary. You will be responsible for a team comprising of Quality Engineers, where you will work to manage and continuously improve the Quality Engineering processes, including New Product Introduction, Change Management, Risk Management and Process Validation. Specifically you will: Manages the Quality Engineering team, while interfacing with the other QA and Global teams supporting Hamble, Chandler’s Ford and Hungary manufacturing Leads continuous improvement activities associated with Quality Engineering processes. Facilitate and track various projects in support of GQE objectives Provide guidance and quality engineering resource to the Life Cycle Management and Research and Development groups relating to New Product Introduction. Manages the team overseeing the change management process, including liaising with Global & Regional RA/QA teams to complete regulatory impact assessments. Support and directly participate in the development, implementation, and establishment of GQS policies, procedures, and processes according to the applicable country regulations and quality system standards Overall responsibility for the Global Process Validation systems. To ensure that all engineering and improvement projects have the necessary QA support Provides support to all parts of the organization, as may be necessary. Manage a team of Quality Engineer professionals by fostering a collaborative, team oriented and risk-based work environment Direct management of personnel including performance appraisals, promotions, salary administration, staff hiring, mentoring, and other personnel related activities. Support company goals and objectives, policies and procedures in compliance with quality policy. To ensure that all training is completed, and team members are conversant with all relevant quality standards and regulations. Ensure that team members are conversant with all aspects of Company safety and COSHH regulations as well as the required level of GMP A full job description is available upon request. About you: We are looking for someone with: Previous experience within a Quality Engineering function. Experience of working in Medical Devices or other highly regulated industries Agile knowledge and experience. Experience of managing people. Ability to read, write and understand technical material. Knowledge of and experience with Quality Systems. Knowledge of and experience of using the eQMS system Knowledge of ISO 9001/ ISO 13485, ISO 14971,21 CFR Part 820 and MDR.
