The Role
As a Team Leader you will have responsibility for the successful delivery of NCHA's planned projects programme. You will deliver an outstanding customer focused service, in line with NCHA’s vision, of “More Homes, Great Services, Better Lives” our “Value for Money Strategy” and “Environmental Sustainability Strategy”.
Can you do this?
* Undertake all aspects of contract management as well as assist with the procurement of services and appointment of contractors
* Implement NCHA strategies in business as usual
* Ensure projects are delivered high quality, on time and on budget
* Recruit, induct and develop colleagues; promoting team work and support change management
* Support planned services to meet or exceed relevant service standards and all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements to include (but not limited to) CDM Regulations, Health and Safety, Building Regulations and Building Safety Act 2022
What do you need to know?
* You will hold a degree in a relevant construction related field plus post qualification experience working in housing maintenance environment or have extensive demonstrable experience managing within a Housing Maintenance environment.
* Have good working knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulation, Asbestos, Fire Safety and all other related Building Regulations
* Confident reading and interpreting technical, performance and financial information with the ability to prepare timely reports
* Successful track record of contractor management and building and maintaining effective working relationships
Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle is required for this role. This role is eligible for essential car user allowance.
Hours and location
This role offers flexible hybrid working, with 35 hours per week worked between 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday, with a minimum of 3 days either in the office or on-site. The central office for this role is based in our brand new offices in Clifton, Nottingham.
