Join a community that cares about you More about your role In this role, you will manage the group's daily liquidity operations, ensuring sufficient cash flow to meet obligations by preparing daily and weekly cash reports and forecasts. You'll input payments and inter-company transfers into the Treasury Management System (City Financials) and oversee month-end and daily accounting tasks, including debt reporting and balance sheet reconciliations. You'll also provide analysis and timely reporting on cashflow forecasts, long-term cashflow models, and bank charge variances, supporting executive-level reviews. Additionally, you'll assist with updating bank mandates to align with delegation of authority and provide administrative support to ensure smooth operations and offer financial analysis to the Operations teams. This is a hybrid role based from our Preston office with a mixture of office based and home based working (2 days office based). Knowledge and understanding of cashflow forecasting More about you You should have a strong understanding of daily liquidity management and cashflow forecasting, as well as experience in working with both internal and external stakeholders. Ideally, you will also have experience liaising with management teams and departments such as AP, Payroll, Pensions, Developments, and Property Sales. Knowledge of banking requirements, particularly Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations, and an understanding of the liquidity lifecycle, including AP/AR processes, would be beneficial. It's also desirable if you're working towards a professional Treasury or Accounting qualification (e.g., AAT), with experience in the housing sector, preferably development.
