We’re looking for apassionate leader to join us at our Minehead Resort as part of ourRestaurants and QSR department as a Restaurant VenueManager.
Asa Venue Manager, you’ll be vital in helping our guest’s createsmiles – getting stuck in to give them a great dining experience!You’ll be part of a big team of people who are responsible forproviding our guests with an altogether more fun and entertainingholiday.
You should enjoy developing people andbe passionate about delivering exceptional experiences to guests bynurturing, training and coaching the team in a fun-filledenvironment.
You will drive standards and havethe ability to lead the team to excellence, incorporating all brandstandards and Butlin’s way of working
Reportingto the Senior Manager, you’ll enjoy the buzz of a busy environmentand will drive your team to maintain high levels of hygiene andcleanliness.
You’ll havethe ability to drive consistent brand standards whilst being guestobsessed and operating efficiently in everything youdo.
The role will alsoinvolve analysing KPI’s and stock control systems to maximise grossprofit margins and adhering to food safety and health & safetypolicies.
You should have a realpassion for leading by example and inspiring others to deliverexperiences that truly delight our guests. You should be anadvocate for your team’s fulfilment at work, ensuring that you arehaving regular 121's and PDP discussions to support theirdevelopment and career with Butlin’s.
As with all roles at Butlin’s, no day willbe the same and you will need to enjoy thinking on your feet,getting stuck in, and ensuring that our guest experience is alwaysyour number one priority.
Typical working hourscover 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7 with a variety of shiftsbetween 7am to late night with support across the widerdepartment at times, and will including weekend, bank holidays andChristmas working.
AboutYou
We are looking for an individualwith prior experience in a food & beverageenvironment, with strong experience of being guest andcustomer-facing and dealing with a range of queries and sometimescomplaints directly.
Youshould be passionate about leading and developing a team andsupporting people through regular 121's andcoaching.
Delivering an amazing experienceto our guests is the most important part of this role so you shouldbe passionate about every interaction and should seek opportunitiesto improve this wherever possible.
Youshould have experience of managing rotas based on fluctuating guestvolumes, experience in working with multi-skilled team to supportother areas of the business based on guest demand. You should beable to demonstrate experience of leading teams to success, toinclude proficiency in managing performance, coaching team,delivering team training, setting standards and role modelling thisbehaviour, problem solving & feedback and able to managemultiple priorities and can adapt quickly to changingrequirements.
