Role: Programme Manager – Adult Provision (Access, Counselling and Work Based Learning) (Internal Only)
Location: Tresham College – Northamptonshire Campuses (Kettering, Corby & Wellingborough)

About the role:
We are looking for Programme Manager to join our Care, Childcare and Counselling Department based at Bedford College. As a Programme Manager you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students by:
1. Leading the management of the operation and development of the Curriculum within a defined programme area.
2. Leading the management of Learning, Teaching, and Assessment (LTA) of programmes to ensure students experience high quality teaching and learning.
3. Representing your department/function at local and Group levels
4. Ensuring the effective management and performance of your team within the directorate and oversee a high-quality provision from the team
5. Ensuring the achievement of both TBCG and departmental strategies and workplans
6. Ensuring all Statutory requirements, policies and procedures are in place and effectively communicated, implemented and followed by all employees of TBCG
7. Carrying out all aspects of the role in line with TBCG culture and values
8. Ensuring the student experience is kept at the heart of everything your Directorate does
About you:
9. A degree in specialist subject area (HSC or Science) or relevant industry experience and professional standing.
10. English and Maths or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent
11. Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent)Evidence of high performance in previous roles/jobs
12. Relevant work experience in the sector to underpin subject leadership with credibility and authority
13. Recent experience of successful management/ team leadership in Further Education
14. Experience of teaching successfully across a range of levels
15. Knowledge and experience of quality assurance systems in Further Education
16. Ability to effectively lead and manage a team of professionals
17. Ability to consistently support a high-quality learning experience for all students
18. Ability to communicate effectively and confidently face to face, on the telephone and in writing
19. Responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and for raising any concerns
