Family Law Solicitor
* Annual Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 (depending on experience)
* Location: City of London
* Job Type: Full-time (Hybrid working available)
We are seeking a qualified Family Law Solicitor with 4-6 years PQE to join our dynamic team in the City of London. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated and dedicated family law professional to advance their career in a Tier 1 law firm.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Handle a varied caseload of family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements, cohabitation disputes, and prenuptial agreements.
* Advise clients on complex legal issues with a focus on tailored, client-centric solutions.
* Provide supervision and guidance to junior team members where appropriate.
* Engage in business development activities, including networking, building relationships with clients and referrers, and contributing to the firm’s growth.
* Demonstrate excellent organisation and document management skills to ensure efficiency and accuracy in case handling.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of family law developments and apply this expertise to client matters.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
* Experience of running and assisting with High Net Worth/Ultra High Net Worth/International clients.
* Strong technical knowledge of family law, including financial settlements and child arrangements.
* Proven ability to manage and prioritise a busy and varied caseload independently.
* Commercial awareness and experience contributing to business development initiatives.
* Strong IT proficiency.
* A proactive, flexible, and solution-focused approach to meeting client needs.
