Let’s talk quality… When it comes to UK retail, it’s hard to find a company with a bigger focus on quality. We sell thousands of items an hour and our repeat customer base comes back to us time and time again for our renowned products & brands. For anyone in the Account Management or Assistant Buyer field - this is the place to learn. To grow. And to thrive.
With our online business constantly growing, Total Platform continuing to strengthen and our retail stores remaining distinguished for our customer base, our buyers have a big responsibility to create attractive and profitable product ranges across the business. They collaborate with our Designers, Merchandisers and Technologists to put together stylish new collections for every season.
Your role
Join Label Home on a maternity cover basis, to manage, lead, and drive sales in a diverse area by onboarding key third-party brands across all categories, ensuring their authenticity, credibility, and design direction to expand customer reach. This will involve regular meetings to build strong relationships and position NEXT as the primary launch partner, requiring internal collaboration with e-commerce, marketing, and press teams to optimise the customer experience and effectively promote these brands through your involvement in the PIF process to enhance product information, SEO, and imagery, ultimately ensuring accurate online representation and navigation for a best-in-class online experience.
About you
Highly organised, you will proactively manage a wide range of responsibilities throughout the season. Entrepreneurial and hands-on, you are willing to assist with the administrative aspects of Account Management. As a confident and persuasive communicator and negotiator, you can effectively take the lead on presenting proposals and gather support both within the business and from external brand partners. You will have extensive knowledge of current and emerging markets and Homeware trends, and be skilled at building and maintaining productive relationships with brands. You are also a collaborative team player, working closely with merchandisers, technologists & brands to create a commercially successful range in a fast-paced, trading environment.
Your team
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Assistant Buyer to join the team Home Brands & License at Next. This team is full of industry experts who live and breathe all things Homeware. This role will be a platform for an experienced, self-motivated Assistant Buyer to embrace the challenge of working with a successful and very fast-paced department. You will be responsible for planning and buying the product. The job would be based in our Enderby office, Leicester.
Your benefits
We’ll discuss more of what you’ll get when you work for Next at interview, but here’s an overview of what you can expect:
* Profit–related bonus
* 25 days holiday and the opportunity to buy more
* Contributions into a pension scheme
* Life assurance
