Position: KS2 Teaching Assistant
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, ongoing until at least July 2025
Location: Southampton, Hampshire
Pay: £85 - £110 per day (paid weekly - every Friday!)
Experience Level: Open to graduates and experienced Teaching Assistants
Your Role as a Teaching Assistant:
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting learning, nurturing children's development, and helping them to thrive both academically and emotionally.
1. As a Teaching Assistant you will work closely with class teachers to support planning, lessons, and activities
2. As a Teaching Assistant you will deliver 1:1 and small group interventions in and out of class
3. As a Teachign Assistant you will help children with varying needs including SEN, EAL, and SEMH
4. As a Teaching Assistant you will encourage engagement, curiosity, and a love for learning
5. As a Teaching Assistant you will support classroom behaviour and build positive student relationships
6. As a Teaching Assistant you will create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment for all learners
