About the Position:
Henniker, part of the AIM-listed Judges Scientific group (JDG), is a leading manufacturer of vacuum and atmospheric plasma systems which are used to modify the surface properties of a wide range of materials, such as polymers, ceramics, and metallic components. Our products are delivered worldwide and form a key role in both leading-edge scientific research and high-tech manufacturing.
Due to our continued growth, we are looking to add new talent to our team. We have an opening for a Test and Installation Engineer. This dynamic role involves international travel to install systems, provide training, and deliver after-sales support for our plasma treatment systems. Additional responsibilities include production support and participation in R&D projects.
Experience of vacuum and/or plasma technologies is beneficial, but we provide full training and numerous opportunities to learn from experienced colleagues across various disciplines.

Responsibilities and Duties:
* Assisting production in system preparation for final testing
* Performing factory acceptance tests
* Installing and servicing systems at global customer sites
* Maintaining records
* Diagnosing faults
* Providing input and advice to the sales team
* Coordinating with customers and arranging site visits
* Reviewing test documents and Standard Operating Procedures
* Supporting the R&D team in New Product Development
Qualifications and Skills:
The ideal candidate will have a scientific or engineering qualification (minimum HNC) and/or be able to demonstrate relevant experience within a system engineering background.
