Applications are invited for a band 5 rotational position within Cardiac Physiology.
You will have a degree in cardiac physiology (or equivalent) and will have RCCP or AHCS registration in progress or completed.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a large team and gain experience in both invasive and non-invasive cardiac physiology.
We are a friendly and supportive team with a focus on delivering excellent patient care.
You will be involved in all aspects of the Cardiology Department and will be expected to rotate between both non-invasive and invasive areas of the department. First and foremost is the ability to be part of a team.
You should be able to perform 12 lead ECG’s; ambulatory monitors including analysis; physiologist-led provocative treadmill tests; pharmacological MIBI; left and right heart catheterisation; ILR implant and analysis; standard pacemaker implantation and follow up with supervision; complex device follow up with supervision.
Full and ongoing training and support will be provided for the successful candidate with a view to acquire further qualifications and accreditation. We are in the process of introducing a structured and comprehensive professional development plan for advancement as part of the appraisal system.
You will be expected to remain professional at all times, liaise with other clinical teams and maintain good public relations on a one-to-one basis with the general public and other interest groups.
