An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time 37 hour a week position as a mental health social worker to join Blackpool's Homeless Mental Health Team based at Winstone House. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with people with multiple disadvantages such as homelessness, mental health difficulties and substance misuse. You will need to be confident with working independently in addition to working alongside our partner agencies. The role involves assertively engaging people who are experiencing homelessness and providing social care assessments and interventions to support them on their personal recovery journey, to develop and maintain their wellbeing and to live well.
You will be based within an integrated mental health team; however, you will be part of the wider mental health social care team where you will have access to regular formal and informal supervision, peer support, training opportunities, and a career development pathway.
If you would like an informal discussion and for more information, please contact Hannah Hardman on 01254 477770.
