About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced food enthusiast, who enjoys working with a small friendly team.Here at Twelve15 we place huge importance on engaging with our customers, educating students in schools about our food, and the importance of a well-balanced nutritious diet.Driven by your passion and creativity, you will be required to support our Client Account Managers, delivering various activities in school settings throughout the year, including tasting sessions, interactive assemblies, and parent's events. This role requires a professional, with excellent culinary skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to deliver high quality catering as required, at Surrey County Council's Head Office in Reigate. Customer service is at the forefront of the Twelve15 Vision and Mission. You will be a fantastic communicator with an ability to collaborate with our customers, promoting the benefits of the service we offer. The key skills we are looking for are as follows:
8. A passion and skill for cooking, able to deliver high quality food and customer service in varying food production environments.
9. Excellent communication skills (including teamwork, customer service and delivering presentations in schools)
10. Enjoy sharing your culinary expertise and knowledge with both adults and children
11. Experience of leading and delivering functions
12. Excellent planning skills
13. Health and Safety Certificate Level 1, and proven understanding of health and safety in a kitchen environment
14. Level 2 Food Safety Certificate
15. Minimum NVQ Level 2 in food preparation and cooking or equivalent
16. IT and administrative skills
17. Experience of supervising staff
18. Ability to work autonomously.
19. Flexible and adaptable to suit variety of work.
20. Excellent time keeping and flexibility around locations.
21. Experience of working with diverse types of foods to manage Allergens.

22. Your experience of preparing and delivering catering functions for up to 200 people, this is to include both food preparation and food service.

You will be working full time with daily travel to various Schools within your Surrey. You will need your own transport and full UK driving licence (business mileage provided).
