AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media:
1. Be a social media expert within the business and a point of contact for internal stakeholders
2. Build close relationships with the ghd global market teams and support and advise on how to activate the global strategy
3. Creating social media campaign plans for key launches (Limited Editions social media project owner)
4. A guardian of Tone of Voice on social which is replicated through all digital touch points
5. Oversee all the ghd social accounts to make sure all content/posts are on brand
6. Monitor social trends and cascade to markets to activate
7. Briefing influencers and brand ambassadors to create content for social media channels
Social Strategy:
8. Supporting the Senior Social Media Manager on social media strategy development across our key channels
9. Cascading and implementing the strategy across leading markets to ensure we hit our KPI’s
10. Build partnerships with social media platforms
Content Creation:
11. Creating briefs for social assets
12. Briefing relevant teams and agencies on social content for tutorials, social flat-lays and any other social assets
13. Lead on social media shoots (. briefs for product flat lay shoots, briefs for how-to shoots, inputting on social media deliverables, representing social at campaign shoots, managing BTS
14. Identifying trending topics and working with Global Assistant Social & Content Manger and Global Social & PR Intern to create reactive content
15. Managing post-production of assets
Global Dossiers:
16. Developing social media strategies for campaigns and new product launches
17. Build the social elements of the global campaign dossiers
18. Constantly aim to innovate and excel the campaign dossiers
Short Term Online Brand Activations:
19. Owning and developing short term activation plans
20. Content creation
21. Working closely with PR team on influencer activations
22. Deploying to local markets and support key markets with activation
LinkedIn Management:
23. Own the global ghd LinkedIn page calendar planning
24. Support the Global Director of Comms and Global Director of People with LinkedIn strategy
25. Liaise with local market HR & social teams to plan in local content to the global LinkedIn calendar
26. Scheduling of LinkedIn content
27. Reporting on LinkedIn activity and stats on a quarterly basis
28. Work closely with global HR team on LinkedIn content and planning
PR:
29. Working closely with the PR team to advise on influencer partnerships and activations
30. Own influencer deliverables with the Global Head of Social and CRM
31. Brief the PR team for any social led activations
32. Work closely with the PR team on any global social events
33. Own social contacts with Educators, Brand Warriors and Brand Ambassadors for social activations and content
Reporting:
34. Liaising with agency on monthly social media reports
35. Pulling ad-hoc results using Sprinklr
36. Post Campaign Analysis: liaising with local markets to gather local results
37. Support the Senior Social Media Manager to present results in Digital Reviews and Brand Reviews to senior stakeholders
Additional:
38. Raising POs
39. Budget management with the Senior Social Media Manager
REQUIREMENTS
40. 4-5 years of social media experience
41. Social media native – deep understanding in particularly Instagram and YouTube
42. Creative but also analytical and strategic
43. Deep understanding of the full marketing mix and the role social plays
44. Confident in monitoring and reporting social KPI’s
45. Experience in content creation – pre, mid and postproduction
46. Excellent copywriting skills
47. In touch with the gen z and millennial audience
48. Experience in managing direct reports
49. Proficient in video and photo editing
50. Advanced in using reporting tools
51. Experience using community management tools
52. Degree level
