This is an exciting opportunity to join our UK Conversion Team. The UK Conversion Officer (Faculty of Science and Engineering) is a key role within our UK Recruitment and Partnerships Department. The department brings together staff from across the institution into a professional recruitment service, managing the full prospective student journey. The Conversion team deliver on key elements of the recruitment strategy focusing on activity working with prospects from application through to enrolment. The team develop, lead and deliver conversion activities at both a cross-institutional and faculty level.
The post holder will support in the delivery of key activities of the UK Recruitment Strategy, in particular, conversion activities within the ‘application to enrolment’ stages of the prospect journey. The post holder will be required to work closely with the Recruitment Coordinator and faculty recruitment staff to develop the conversion activities of the operational action plan, managing operational delivery of specialist areas (such as outbound telephone nurturing campaign) and managing operational delivery of conversion activities focusing on the Faculty of Science and Engineering (FSE).
The role will support coordination of faculty staff in the University’s confirmation and clearing activity, as well as supporting the wider directorate and UK Conversion Manager in the overall running of the operation.
The post holder will work closely with other teams across the department, directorate and wider university to ensure a cohesive and streamlined approach to recruitment and conversion.
We are seeking to employ an individual with experience of delivering promotional activity (including appropriate targeting, monitoring of KPIs) and using a CRM system with strong data inputting and accuracy.
You will have an understanding of the HE student recruitment lifecycle for both post-18 and “non-traditional learners” and experience of planning and delivering promotional activity. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build effective relationships, being an ambassador for the university.
