The role will lead the financial support to the North and North West & Yorkshire Geographies and will be the team leader for the geography finance team, made up of 13 members across Finance Business Partnering and Finance Operations of which 3 are direct reports to the role The role is accountable and responsible for providing professional financial support, partnering with Geography, Group and project leadership, and other business support professionals, to deliver robust financial performance against the business plan and drive areas of targeted improvement. You will be a member of the Geographic leadership teams and Commercial leadership teams in addition to being a member of the Senior Finance team and the UKIMEA Finance community, working to deliver finance best practice and expertise in a cross-section of financial activities. The Senior Finance Business Partner will analyse financial performance, deliver executive reports, and provide actionable insights to drive decision-making. You’ll collaborate with leadership on results, shaping strategic business plans and forecasts. You’ll lead a talented finance team, fostering growth, setting objectives, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Strong stakeholder relationships across the UKIMEA region will be key, as will ensuring compliance, supporting audits, and contributing to bid reviews, and also drive financial awareness and support regional and global finance teams in delivering a professional and efficient finance function. We are looking for people who: Have substantial post-qualification experience in a relevant finance role at leadership level in professional services Have a Professional accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) Have Strong business and commercial acumen, demonstratable project and budgetary management and an understanding of external factors and markets. Have experience and impact awareness of specialist areas including financial accounting, controls and governance, tax, audit, ethics and risk management.
