You will support and develop the dedicated My People Services team and HR Toolstation Admin Team who receive a high volume of queries through phone, portal and email. You will also promote a culture of high client service across all team members and actively encourage ideas and suggestions for continuous service improvement.
This role is hybrid working; however, during training, you will be expected to be present in the office daily in Duston, Northampton.
As a Manager, you will:
* Develop, lead and motivate the team.
* Encourage positive action and accountability for the team’s work.
* Facilitate the day-to-day success of the service delivery; point of escalation for issue management.
* Provide constructive feedback, coaching and development through monthly 121’s.
* Plan, monitor and evaluate individual performances to encourage productive and meaningful performance appraisals.
* Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
* Work with the HR Management team to ensure local requirements are met and the team is shaped as required to meet the business need.
* Ensure the service provided to managers and employees is of high quality, consistent and delivered in a customer-focused way, managing team performance against KPIs.
* Ensure all team members apply processes and procedures in a consistent manner.
* Work with the HR Management team and stakeholders to identify areas for service improvement, establish process improvement plans.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Solid understanding of HR Service Centre/Contact Centre operations (SLA’s/operational reports, phone systems, CRM systems).
* High level of proficiency with case management CRM and telephone systems and usual office packages including MS and Google options.
* Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
* Able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Required Experience and Education:
* Experience in HR Service Centre/Contact Centre with First Line / Tier 1 exposure.
* Team Leader experience.
Preferable:
* Background in a HR environment.
