Commercial Support Associate
Manchester City Centre (Hybrid working)
As our next Commercial Support Associate, you will be responsible for processing commercial claims, invalidating claims where sufficient evidence exists, and all associated query management. Your day to day activities will include timely processing of commercial claims, following up with Customer Business Managers (CBMs) to validate or invalidate claims, and building and maintaining good relationships with the sales team, PBS colleagues and wider business to achieve targets.
Within this role, you will also be instrumental in proactively contributing to improvements in systems, procedures and practices within the department to ensure efficient and effective business operations. You will support the implementation of new processes to minimize risk and be involved in small-scale projects such as user acceptance testing and creation of procedural documentation.
Your remit will include operating within the business controls framework, following relevant process documents such as the Credit Policy and Risk and Control Framework. You will also engage with business areas to improve data quality and suggest process improvements.

The Key Requirements...
1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
2. Proven experience working within a financial processing and/or query resolution role
3. Performance driven and keen to exceed expectations
4. Work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver your targets and understand end to end processes
5. Good attention to detail, the ability to multitask and work under pressure
6. Good time management and organisational skills
7. System knowledge of SAP
8. Experience of working in a Shared Service Centre
