What will I be doing?
We're excited about the future at Thatchers, and we're investing hugely in our site, brand, and IT applications.
In this role, you'll dive into supporting all aspects of our infrastructure across the business, working with relevant hardware and IT applications, to continuously improve both efficiency and IT security across our site. You’ll be working closely with a variety of people across the business, building relationships to support them with IT tickets, resolving any queries in a swift and professional manner.
This position will eventually form part of our IT support rota.
During the apprenticeship, you will have a mix of learning on the job, as well as workshops delivered remotely by the training provider.
Some of the skills you will learn:
1. Manage all IT support queries
2. Build and configure PCs and laptops
3. Complete daily checks to ensure the Windows and VM environments are stable
4. Administer our fixed and mobile phone systems
5. Maintain asset lists and departmental documentation
This role is based full-time at our Myrtle Farm offices, 5 days a week.
