We have an exciting opportunity to join our GRC team as a Security Compliance Analyst at a time of rapid growth and innovation at Cognisys.

About the Role
At Cognisys, our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team is central to our mission of ensuring that our client’s data is protected to the highest security and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities
1. Assist with internal and external audits to ensure compliance with standards such as ISO27001.
2. Support risk assessments and contribute to the development of risk management strategies.
3. Help create, update, and maintain security policies and related documentation.
4. Participate in governance activities, including reporting and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
5. Collaborate with team members and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Requirements
1. 1-3 years of experience in a compliance, risk management, or information security role.
2. Familiarity with information security standards (e.g., ISO27001, NIST, etc.) and a desire to develop expertise in this area.
3. A compliance or information security-related certification is a plus (or willingness to pursue one).
4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and propose practical solutions.
5. Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
6. Excellent time management and organisational skills with attention to detail.
7. A proactive approach to learning and a willingness to grow within the role.
