An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated midwife to join the Maternity Digital Team, supporting the ongoing maintenance and enhancements of the Maternity CRS patient records. In this role, you will work closely with the Maternity Data Manager to uphold and enhance Data Quality Standards while promoting optimal use of the system. You will offer staff support with system functionality, while continuing to develop, implement and advance improvements and concentrate on ongoing projects with the goal of introducing system changes safely and effectively.
We are looking for a forward-thinking and dynamic midwife who has a genuine interest in digital healthcare, who can be an ambassador for change and is keen to develop their knowledge and skills around digital technology within maternity.
This is a band 7 role for someone who has previous Digital Maternity experience; however, we would support a Band 6 developmental role in the instance of no other suitable candidate.
Main Duties of the Job
The post holder will be a core member of the Maternity Digital Team to support our maternity services with the ongoing development and maintenance of the Maternity Electronic Patient Records - Oracle (Cerner Millenium).
The post holder will act as a link between the clinical groups and digital services.
Work in collaboration with the Maternity Data Manager to monitor and maintain data quality standards to produce accurate data for local, regional, and national dashboards.

* Significant years of post-registration clinical experience
* Experience of working in all areas of maternity services
* Experience of mentoring students
* Sound knowledge and understanding of Oracle (Cerner Millenium) EPR
* Participation in audit

* Ability to demonstrate evidence-based knowledge and application to clinical practice
* Ability to effectively delegate
* Ability to prioritise workload
* Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel
* Evidence of good presentation skills
