Job Opportunity: Farm Administrator (Part-Time)
Location: The Watership Down Partnership, North Hampshire
Hours: 20-24 hours per week (Flexible)
The Watership Down Partnership is a 1,650-hectare working farm in North Hampshire, made up of a diverse mix of arable farming, sheep, bloodstock, woodland, small shoot, residential lettings, and a small amount of external contracting operations.
We are currently seeking a highly organized and reliable Farm Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis working in our onsite office. If you have a passion for agriculture and enjoy supporting operations behind the scenes, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
•\tGeneral Administration: Handle office operations, including answering phone calls, managing emails, logging staff time sheets.
•\tFarm Record Keeping: Maintain and organise records related to our varied operations (arable, livestock, etc.) and ensure everything is up to date.
•\tFinancial Support: Paying and raising invoices, VAT returns submission, preparation of accounts for year end, Monthly bank reconciliations.
•\tSupplier and Vendor Coordination: Manage communication with suppliers, contractors, and assist in order processing.
•\tScheduling & Coordination: Property maintenance, coordinating with staff.
•\tHealth & Safety Records: Ensure farm safety documentation is up to date and assist with compliance.
Requirements:
•\tStrong organizational and communication skills.
•\tExperience in office administration with some farming experience.
•\tProficiency in Farm Plan, Earnie payroll or similar.
•\tAbility to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
•\tA proactive attitude and attention to detail.
