Role: Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst (FP&A Analyst)
This role is pivotal to the business and provides an exciting opportunity to really make a difference. We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and experienced FP&A Analyst with a real passion for business intelligence skills such as Power Query, Power Automate, and Power Apps, and to be a Business Process Automation (BPA) Champion.
Duties:
Financial Analysis
* Provide valuable data insights and performance analysis to senior stakeholders across the business.
* Develop and maintain dashboards and reports, including charts, tables, and graphs to enable presentation of data in an effective format.
* Develop financial modelling templates for use across multiple countries, to support robust forward-thinking analysis and decision making.
* Identify value-add areas and support the Head of UK & Ireland Finance with ad hoc projects and deep dives.
* Support the annual budget and forecasting process.
* Lead the automation of Board reports and business performance reports to drive accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness.
* Evaluate financial and business performance, with trends, variances, and risks, and highlight areas for improvement.
* Work closely with our Commercial and Marketing team to ensure one source of truth across our Financial and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems.
Process Improvement
* Recommend and implement process and reporting improvements through automation solutions and standardization across the business.
* Provide guidance and training to the Finance team and Central team on finance processes and automation skills, helping to embed a continuous improvement mindset.
* Be involved in additional projects as they arise.
Stakeholder Management
* Support the UK & Ireland finance team through the transition of automation.
* Collaborate with stakeholders across the business including Finance Business Partners, Head of UK & Ireland Finance, Group Financial Controller, Divisional Directors, Marketing, and other Central teams to identify opportunities to improve data quality, understand performance, and drive growth through data-led analysis.
Skills:
* Financial background with strong technical skills and knowledge of Business Intelligence tools, such as Power Query, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
* Excellent communication skills with experience of working well with different stakeholders from around the business.
* Enthusiastic, proactive with a desire to really make a difference.
* Business Process Automation (BPA) Champion.
* Attention to detail, with an analytical mindset to organize and interpret data.
* Experience of embedding robust month-end processes and controls.
* Experience with financial systems (SAP and Oracle) and CRM systems (HubSpot) is an advantage.
* Open, honest, and progressive.
