As a Specialist SEND Teaching Assistant, you will provide crucial support to students, ensuring they receive the assistance and encouragement they need to thrive academically and personally. Key Responsibilities: Offer personalised support to students with a variety of special educational needs, including autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning challenges. Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and tailored support strategies to meet the unique needs of each student. Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and professionals to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Cultivate positive relationships with students, nurturing their emotional well-being and self-esteem. Requirements: Previous experience working with children or young people with special educational needs is highly desirable. Possession of relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, would be advantageous.
