Job Description
Purpose of the Post
* Be the strategic lead on performance services
* Lead, manage, support, and align the medical performance services at the club to ensure sustained maximum impact on player performance

* Recruitment & Analysis Lead
* Medical & Performance staff
* Club Operations Manager
Duties and Responsibilities
* Develop and implement the overall performance strategy aligning with the club’s philosophy and long-term vision
* Lead and manage the day-to-day medical and performance provision across the Women’s Department
* Ensure all provisions and practitioners are aligned with the club strategy and have up-to-date qualifications
* Implement and manage performance monitoring systems and support data interpretation for evidence-based decisions
* Ensure safe and effective player rehabilitation with the medical team
* Manage the performance services budget, ensuring proper resource allocation
* Adhere to best practices in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and assessment
* Assist with fitness and rehabilitation requirements as needed
* Foster collaboration across all pathway levels
* Maximise the potential of performance services by working closely with coaching staff
* Deliver staff CPD with internal and external stakeholders
* Drive research and innovation within the role
What we’re looking for in you:
Essential Requirements
* MSc/BSc in Sports Science or related discipline
* BSc in Sports Science or related discipline
* Up-to-date knowledge of Physical Performance, Sports Medicine, and rehabilitation, including the latest research in Women’s football
* FA Safeguarding Certificate
* Experience with elite athletes
* Leadership and management experience
* Teamwork and relationship-building skills
* Adaptability, analytical precision, and confidentiality
Desirable Requirements
* Experience in Women’s Football
* Coaching and mentoring qualification
Personal Requirements
* Empathy with players and the ability to inspire
* Strong communication skills and ability to build strategic relationships
* Awareness of diversity and equality challenges in football
* Active listener and attentive to athletes and staff
