Join Kent's only private AfPP-accredited Theatres team and make a real impact in a dynamic and supportive environment As a Theatre Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in preparing theatres for surgery, ensuring both the theatre and recovery areas are spotless, collecting and escorting patients, and maintaining accurate patient records. Every day is a chance to make a difference for patients in need. You'll work 4 days per week (Monday to Saturday, 07:30 – 18:00), with just 1 Saturday per month. If you have experience in Operating Theatres or Decontamination Units, and a talent for building quick, positive rapport with patients, we'd love to hear from you. This is your opportunity to shape your career your way Main duties of the job As a Theatre Support Worker your responsibilities will include: Cleaning of theatre and recovery areas before and after operating sessions, also adhering to the weekly cleaning schedule. Stocking of cupboards and stock containers against agreed stock levels. Collecting and escorting the patient, and assisting with transferring of the patient from trolley to table under supervision of trained staff. Assisting with the safe positioning of patient on operating table. Acting as circulating person for the scrub team and within the scope of the role.
