We are seeking to appoint a highly effective, creative and inspirational HLTA to join us who will be highly skilled, enthusiastic and motivated to help our students develop and reach their full potential. The successful candidate will have previous experience and skills working with a range of students with SEND needs and have experience of teaching / delivering interventions to support pupils academic and/or SEND needs. Being first aid qualified is a requirement of this role, for those who do not hold this qualification training will be provided. A key part of the role is to lead on literacy and reading across the school.
Previous classroom experience is desirable but not essential as support will be provided. Qualifications of GCSE Grade 4 or above in English and Mathematics (or equivalent) will be required.
Achievement of the Professional Standards for Higher Level teaching Assistants or able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
