We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join the Glasgow office.
This is a brand new position in our business, created as part of our exciting growth plans following a recent acquisition, to drive our continued expansion and success.
This role offers between £28,000 - £33,000 DOE.
Position
* Managing and processing all Payroll related tasks
* Maintain all payroll records, including new starts, leavers, and changes to rates of pay
* Process employee clock-in information
* Process employee payroll information on Opera, ensuring all appropriate deductions are made
* Export and upload information to the bank for payment
* Deal with all queries regarding payroll, from both staff and outside agencies including HMRC
* Calculate holiday uplift pay for technicians
* Ensure compliance to Real Time Information reporting deadlines
* Preparing and filing payroll taxes to HMRC
* Complete the monthly submissions for pension schemes
* Prepare annual P60 and P11d
* Ensure fully compliant with HMRC requirements
* Liaise with HR department
* Payroll reconciliations
* Support accounts payable throughout the month including processing of purchase invoices, statement reconciliations, payment runs, and cashbook postings
Requirements
Experience
* Proven track record in all aspects of Payroll
* Experience in Accounts Payable preferable
