Job Description
We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Attendance Officer. The right candidate will be a highly valued member of our Attendance Officer Team within Team Beckfoot Thornton. We are a local trust with a national outward focus, determined to make a difference to the community that we are so privileged to serve.
This is a permanent role which is full-time, but it only requires you to work during term-time, plus 5 days. The hours are Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 3.30pm and Fridays 7.30am - 3.00pm.
Requests for part-time work will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the Attendance Officer Team in monitoring and improving student attendance.
2. Engage with students and families to address attendance issues.
3. Maintain accurate records and reports regarding attendance.
4. Collaborate with school staff to promote a positive attendance culture.
